National PRIMA partners with The Risk Management Study Group to offer it's PRIMA stakeholders access to free course tutorials that include a webinar recording with slide deck and other supporting material for each class session. You will need to purchase your textbooks and pay for your virtual exams through The Institutes.  You can learn more about how to access these free tutorials on the PRIMA Central website.

Risk Management Certification Program

The Oregon Public Risk Management Association (OR-PRIMA) is pleased to continue its partnership with CIS to offer the Risk Management Certification Program to our membership.  For aspiring risk managers or those interested in pursuing more knowledge in the arena of risk management, this program is for you!  It is a self-paced program that is easily completed in one year but is flexible enough for those who need more time, or less.  The program requires 40 units of risk management training in core areas such as; claims management, emergency management, human resources, and public safety. We are always seeking new members to join the PRIMA community, so consider applying today.  Please visit the Risk Management Certification page for more information about this designation or contact Katie Durfee.

Oregon PRIMA Scholarship Program

Oregon Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) is pleased to offer two scholarships in 2025. Recipients must be a member in good standing and first-time conference attendee. Recipients will receive complimentary registration to attend the Oregon PRIMA annual conference in the Fall. To apply, fill out an application here before September 12, 2025.
