Risk Management Certificate Program

Oregon PRIMA, in conjunction with the CIS Trust, are proud to offer a customized Risk Management program that assists individuals with the tools and training needed to identify actual or potential liabilities that a public entity may incur. Keeping risks to a minimum and reducing possible public liability exposure helps reduce insurance claims and insurance costs. Effective Risk Management saves money, builds employee morale, and saves lives.   

For aspiring risk managers or those interested in pursuing more knowledge in the arena of risk management, this program is for you!  It is a self-paced program that is easily completed in one year but is flexible enough for those who need more time, or less.  The program requires 40 units/hours of risk management training in core areas such as; claims management, emergency management, human resources, and public safety. The objective of a Risk Manager is to identify potential liabilities and to keep risk exposure to a minimum for their public entity.
