Membership dues support your chapter so that we can continue to provide you with the tools you need to add value to your organization through the practices of risk management, including our website, spring meeting, annual conference and connection to an extensive network of public risk management professionals.  *Chapter dues do not include membership in the national PRIMA organization.

The chapter membership year is July 1 - June 30.  There are two categories of membership:

Government Member Category:

This category applies to governments, government entities, political subdivisions or public entity risk pools.  The entity may designate one voting representative who must be primarily responsible for risk management for their employing governmental entity.  The entity is considered the member and one membership fee is paid regardless of the number of representatives. 

The annual dues for a government member are dependent upon the population where the entity is housed.   For populations between 0-24,999 the rate is $100.  For populations over 25,000 the rate is $170.

Affiliate Member Category:

This category consists of organizations or individuals that do not qualify for the Government Member category.  Affiliate members do not carry voting privileges.  Affiliate members may not hold office in the Chapter, but are entitled to all other benefits of membership.  The organization is considered the member and one membership fee is paid regardless of the number of representatives.  The annual dues for this category are $175.

OR-PRIMA understands the challenges of maintaining existing service levels despite reduced budgets; we hope that you will find the expenditure for annual dues worth its value many times over.

Associate Representatives:

This group consists of employees of Government Members other than the designated voting representative, or additional Affiliate Members.  It is not required that the Associate Representatives be primarily responsible for risk management for the entity.  Government Associates may hold office in the Chapter, but may not be the designated voting representative for their entity.  All Associate Representatives are entitled to all other benefits of membership. 

2016/2017 Oregon Prima Membership

Government Member - Housed in population of 24,999 people or less $100
Government Member - Housed in population of 25,000 or more $170
Affiliate Member $175


The rate you pay is based on your primary offices mailing address. For example, if your county seat or school district offices  are located in city with a population 25,000 people or more based on the most recent census information your fee would be $175. Choose Government rate (L) if your entity fits into this category.  If your offices are located in a city with under 24,499 people your fee would be $100.  Choose Government Rate (S) if your entity fits into this category. Regardless of whether you fit into a large or small category, you only pay one entity fee regardless of the number of additional number of people you sign up as additional members.

If this is your first time joining, sign up via the Oregon Prima web page in the member section or under Join tab.  Click on "Member Application" from the left navigation bar at the top of the page.  Check voting member for one of your people and additional member for all others you sign up.

Member sign in is at the very top of the Oregon Prima home page sign in using your member number or e-mail address and the password you chose.
