Oregon PRIMA Risk Achievement Award

2016 Achievement in Risk Management Award - Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District

The recipient of the third annual Achievement in Risk Management award was the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District. The award was presented at the 2016 Oregon PRIMA Fall Conference at Mount Bachelor Village. Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District received the award for their work toward achieving the Oregon OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification.

Congratulations to Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District for going beyond OSHA compliance to be SHARP certified!

2015 Achievement in Risk Management Award - City of Portland

The OR-PRIMA Board of Directors is proud to announce the recipients of the 2015 Achievement in Risk Management award.  The City of Portland received the award for the City Risk's Loss Prevention Program. Congratulations and thank you to City of Portland Risk Management. 

The Board was also honored to have Michael Cave, Sr. Risk Specialist at the City, present "The Fundementals of Self-Insured Loss Prevetion Efforts" for our opening session of the Fall Conference.

In addition to the beautiful trophy, the City of Portland will also receive a free registration to OR-PRIMA's 2016 Fall Conference.  For further information on the award and how to nominate a deserving individual/entity see our Education/Awards tab.

2014 Achievement in Risk Management Award - City of Ashland

At the 2013 Fall Conference OR-PRIMA announced a new program to recognize achievements in risk management.  The recipient of the first annual Achievement in Risk Management award presented at the 2014 Fall Conference was the City of Ashland's Fire and Rescue Department.  Ashland Fire and Rescue received the award for its preparation of city personnel, city businesses, and the citizens of Ashland for al types of emergencies. This was achieved through its Ashland Is Ready Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Employee Emergency Response Team (EERT), and Emergency Prepared Business (EPB) programs. Congratulations and thank you to the City of Ashland Fire and Rescue Department!

You may nominate yourself or another deserving individual/entity.  To do so please complete the Annual Achievement in Risk Management application.  Please submit your application to info@orprima.org no later than September 4, 2017.

In addition to a beautiful plaque, the recipient also receives a free registration to the following year's Fall Conference.
